We are looking for a dedicated IT Project Manager to lead the implementation of our new apprenticeship management system. This crucial role involves guiding the project from inception through to a successful completion, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and maintaining adherence to PMO best practices. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex IT projects and fostering a collaborative team environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee the full lifecycle of the apprenticeship management system project from initial planning to deployment and post-implementation maintenance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including technology, business units, and external stakeholders to ensure project delivery is aligned with strategic objectives.
- Implement and adhere to PMO best practices, methodologies, and standards to achieve project objectives and deliverables effectively.
- Facilitate effective communication channels among project stakeholders to ensure transparency and consistent updates on project progress and deviations.
- Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks affecting the project timeline, scope, and quality.
- Develop strong relationships with all project stakeholders through effective relationship management strategies and skilled negotiation of project needs.
- Provide comprehensive regular reports and presentations to senior management detailing project status, risks, and proposed mitigation strategies.
