Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer located in Williston, VT. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for equipment and wind tunnel model designs, wind tunnel operation, project management, and other mechanical engineering tasks. The Mechanical Engineer will work closely with other engineers and project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design skills
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
- Project Management skills
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be trustworthy and be able to function well in teams and independently
- 3 years professional experience in mechanical/civil/structural engineering environment
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Be able to lift 75 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- Competent in SolidWorks and CFD analysis
- Fluent in MATLAB
- Basic machining skills
- Experience in wind engineering or wind tunnel testing
