Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Group Facilitator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading therapeutic group sessions, providing support and guidance to participants, and fostering a safe and inclusive environment. The Group Facilitator will utilize various therapeutic techniques to engage participants and help them achieve their personal goals.
Duties
- Lead group counseling sessions using approaches such as CBT, DBT, family dynamics, coping strategies, communication skills, and psychoeducation.
- Complete all required group notes in EMR database within 24 hrs
- Communicate with clients in a professional manner
- Work with clinical team to ensure continuity of care.
Experience
Candidates should possess relevant experience in the mental health field, particularly in facilitating group therapy or direct support roles. Preferred qualifications include:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with clients in a mental health treatment setting
- Background in dance therapy is a plus, enhancing the therapeutic options available during sessions.
