Our client is seeking a highly experienced and mission-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee all aspects of operations, from production and supply chain to quality control and efficiency optimization. The COO will play a critical role in scaling operations to meet international demand, improving internal systems, and ensuring organizational readiness for rapid growth. This role is ideal for a proven operational leader with deep experience in manufacturing and a strong commitment to clean energy innovation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an operational strategy that aligns with growth objectives and sustainability goals
- Oversee and scale production facilities and optimize supply chain processes
- Lead operational teams and foster a culture of innovation, quality, and continuous improvement
- Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to streamline operations and enhance quality
- Ensure regulatory compliance across safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Collaborate with engineering to align product design with manufacturing processes
- Establish and track KPIs for operational efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction
- Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies
- Partner with sales and customer service to deliver consistent, high-quality fulfillment
- Use data analytics and reporting to guide strategic decision-making and operational improvements

Ideal Competencies

- Proven track record of scaling operations and implementing world-class manufacturing practices
- Experience with sustainability-focused practices
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Strong communication skills and executive presence
- Track record of building high-performing teams and managing change at scale
