Position: Lead Solar Installer
Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, five 8-hour days

Solar Technologies is a prominent solar contractor in the Bay Area, committed to delivering top-quality solar PV projects. We are seeking a skilled Lead Solar Installer to join our dynamic team and work under the supervision of the site Foreman.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install Solar PV Systems: Both AC and DC installations.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
- Professionalism: Act courteously and professionally, respecting the customer's home.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to company safety policies, including fall protection, protective equipment, and tailgate training.
- Leadership: Lead and guide other installers when needed.
- Physical Tasks: Climb ladders and work at elevated heights of two or more stories. Lift 60-pound inverters to chest height.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools, saws, drills, ladder lifts, and light-duty equipment.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understand and comply with AHJ requirements and OSHA safety standards.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills:
- Experience: Minimum two years of solar installation experience.
- Motivation and Communication: Highly motivated with excellent communication skills.
- Reliability: Punctual with a reliable attendance record.
- Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality results.
- Background Check: Successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation to and from job sites when a company vehicle is not provided.
