Role Definition
Accountable for the leadership, development and implementation of assigned adjacent growth opportunities in oil and gas, power generation, energy services, and associated applications that will result in the offering of a new strategic product or service, or portfolio of products & services to the market..
Responsibilities
The role will support Solar Turbines’ (a Caterpillar subsidiary) leadership in creating a strategy to identify and develop adjacent opportunities, merger and acquisitions, as well as venture capital investments that align with our growth strategies.
The Program Manager is accountable for the development, evaluation, and execution of potential opportunities and leading the associated cross-functional efforts. This may include, but may not be limited to the analysis of market opportunity, market and customer development, market introduction and initial development and production of the new product or service. This position plays a critical role in establishing the position of the new product/service in the market, including ensuring the acceptance internally and delivering on customer satisfaction.
