Job Summary
The Accounting Manager is responsible for meeting the organizational and reporting needs for monthly and annual close of the books for our residential solar division. You will oversee the daily operations of divisional financial activity including A/R and A/P and support the corporate accounting department as needed. You will assist the CFO in reconciling accounts, maintaining GAAP activities within the ledger, and providing reporting and reconciliation functions for financial reviews. UP TO FIRST 8 WEEKS REMOTE!!
Essential Functions
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Monitor and report on accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile customer and vendor accounts.
- Assist with month-end close of activity for financial reporting.
- Prepare financial reports including variance analysis and commentary.
- Assist with reporting, budgets and forecasts as needed.
- Audit financial records as needed.
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance.
- Collaborate on systems and processes improvements.
- Provide accounting support to other departments as needed.
- Assist with the organization and execution of day-to-day accounting functions.
- Assist with processes and activities associated with the integration of company books.

- General accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Proficient with NetSuite, QuickBooks Online

Minimum requirements of consideration:
- Degree in Accounting or related field required.
- 4 years of experience in accounting and business operations. (energy, construction, project accounting by job highly desirable)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficient in accounting and Microsoft apps.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, while taking ownership of responsibilities
- AIA Invoicing a PLUS
**The ideal candidate will be able to travel to Rocklin, CA for 1 week to train with CFO.

Salary : $90,000 - $95,000
