Exciting VP Finance and Accounting role, with stable real estate companyAre you a highly experienced accounting and finance leader passionate about real estate? We are partnered with a privately-held real estate investment and management firm with a long history of success and a diverse portfolio of commercial properties throughout California. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Vice President to serve as the top accounting and finance executive, reporting directly to the owner.Position Summary : As a key leadership team member, you will be responsible for the organization's financial health and accurate reporting. This role requires a deep understanding of real estate accounting, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills.Key Responsibilities : Oversee all accounting functions, including corporate, property, and financial reporting.Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals.Advise the Executive Team on all financial matters.Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations.Manage relationships with external financial partners (CPA, etc.).Maximize return on financial assets and mitigate risk.Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, A / R, A / P, and revenue recognition.Communicate financial information clearly and effectively.Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.CPA certification is highly preferred.8 years of experience in real estate accounting.MRI experience is a plus.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
