Job Description
Solis Applied Science is seeking two Data Steward Exploitation Specialist professionals (Junior Level) with experience focused on data quality and investigates quality and integrity issues using applied statistics, building algorithms and collaborating with domain expertise to convey complicated realities to non-technical audiences performing GEOINT services and product creation. Either position may be in either the Springfield, VA or Saint Louis, MO area.
Required Skills
- Working knowledge of ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcPro
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in data mining, cleansing, and exploring spatial, temporal, and non-spatial data in both structured and unstructured formats.
- Familiarity with: common data science libraries and frameworks, plus:
- PostgreSQL, Postgis, PgAdmin
- Application programming interfaces (APls)

Desired Skills
- Experience with workflow management systems, such as Flowable, and
- Working knowledge of Maplnfo/ MapBasic GIS/ database software
- Experience with data visualization software such as Tableau
- 2-3 years' experience in programming languages such as Python or R (statistical analysis), data preprocessing, and basic machine learning algorithms
