What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Supervisor position at Solomon Page?
Our client, a National commercial real estate company, is looking to hire an Accounting Supervisor. This is a hybrid position in Jericho, NY.
- Salary: $100-120k/yr plus bonus
Responsibilities:
- Oversee, manage, and train 2-3 accounting staff
- Assist in all day-to-day accounting activities, including posting of accounting transactions, monitoring and maintaining daily and monthly cash activities and balances
- Review/prepare daily liquidity update
- Manage corporate cash receipts process
- Review monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly and quarterly closing entries
- Review general ledger balances for completeness, accuracy and account classification
- Prepare general ledger account reconciliations
- Support quarter-end and year-end review and audit process; addressing auditor inquiries and preparing and providing support details and analysis
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 5-7 years experience in a similar role
- Must have experience with Kyriba software
- Commercial real estate experience is a plus
