Job Title: Practice Administrator
Department: Administration
Immediate Supervisor Title: Medical Director/Physician
Job Supervisory Responsibilities: Manager and director of all departments
General Summary: An exempt, management position responsible for leading and directing operations for a small office.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Human Resources: Interviews, hires and trains new team members. Conducts performance reviews. Counsels and mentors team members. Supervises and maintains accurate time clocks.
- Customer Service: Ensures patient and referral satisfaction, including troubleshooting complaints and developing improvements to prevent recurrence. Manages people and processes to achieve optimal service levels and availability for referring offices.
- Accounts Receivable: Co responsibility for financial performance of revenue cycle, including collecting at time of service, accurate insurance benefits, patient education, treatment plan presentation. Timely insurance claims submission, coding overview, pre-certification and predetermination processes.
- Records, Data and Reporting: User administration for Practice Management software, 3rd party lending, coordination with outside vendors. Creates monthly practice KPIs. Tracks expenses and submits expense reports. Maintains all practice records, including patient, financial, and all other documents necessary for audit trail and compliance.
- Compliance: Ensures regulatory compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, labor laws, and other local, state and federal regulations.
- Other Duties as required, to run a highly productive and efficient practice, such as filling in for absent employees.
Education: Master's degree in health care administration, business administration, or health administration preferred.
Experience: Minimum seven years executive-level experience including five years of experience in the administration of a health care organization.

- Knowledge of principles and practices of health care planning and management sufficient to manage, direct, and coordinate the operation of a health care practice.
- Knowledge of the policies and procedures of a clinic sufficient to direct its operations and to provide effective patient care.

Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, Sharepoint, Avaya, and eClinicalWorks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
