A client in the Real Estate business is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. The AP clerk will be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of the AP processing
- Review invoices
- Code invoices
- Pay invoices
- Review inventory accounts and spreadsheets
- Research accounts and discrepancies
- Work with managers in the field on accounting and finance related communication
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous accounting education and/or AP work experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft excel, office, and other accounting software
- Experience with AP and invoicing
- Excellent reading comprehension, verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with electronic filing, Microsoft office, and google suite
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proactive and analytical approach to all job duties
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance preferred
- Experience with a real estate or property management company
- Rent Manager or Avid Pay experience
Compensation: $55,000-$65,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
