Responsibilities
- Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close new business through needs assessments and customized solutions.
- Generate new business by networking, referrals, and outbound marketing with partners such as real estate agents, mortgage lenders, and auto dealers.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional service and solutions.
- Understand and follow all underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements.
- Manage and update client information in the agency management system.
- Consistently achieve high sales targets and exceed performance goals.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid Insurance Producer's license in Property & Casualty and Life & Health from the State of Texas.
- 2 years of prior sales experience, preferably in a fast-paced agency environment.
- 3 years of customer service experience.
- Proven ability to consistently exceed defined sales goals and close sales.
- Comfortable making outbound calls, including cold calls, in a positive and enthusiastic manner.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Resilient, coachable, and resourceful with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening. (English and Spanish preferable)
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
