What are the responsibilities and job description for the Alarm Monitoring Professional position at Sonitrol Southern Nevada?
Sonitrol, the international leading Verified Security Systems provider of Burglary Alarms, Access Control services, CCTV services, and Fire Monitoring, and a trusted Law Enforcement Partner; is seeking to add team members to our Alarm Monitoring and Emergency Dispatch Center. Providing services to Governmental, Financial, Schools, Commericial Businesses, as well as Residential customers, with a record of over 187,000 apprehensions nationwide.
As an alarm monitoring agent you will be responsible to monitor and verify alarms, and dispatch emergency public safety agencies as needed. Provide the highest level of customer service to our customers, other team members, as well as assisting field technicans via phones or radio.
No prior experience required. Our highly trained and national award -winning team, will train you to perform this very important service for our community business and residents. Training is on grave shift - long term assigment is based on company needs, current openings are second and third shifts.
Candidate Qualifications include :
- 3 years of strong customer service experience
- Strong PC, data entry and typing skills (Must type at least 40 wpm)
- Dexterity to use computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical equipment. Prolonged periods of sitting.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to communicate effective and in a timely manner to other agencies
- Strict attendance policy.
- Must be able to work assigned shifts, to inlcude nights, weekends and holidays. (Steady shift assignement)
- Must be able to obtain a Sheriff's license / pass background checks
- Current shift openings are on graves and swings, weekend shifts also available.
