Job Description
Position Title: Fitness Front Desk Supervisor

Reports to: Fitness Club Manager
Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-exempt

Wage: $21.00-$23.00
Typical Schedule: 5 days a week, Sundays and Mondays required
Primary Purpose of Position
To assist the Fitness Club Manager in providing leadership and supervision of the Front Desk as well as all staff in the daily operations, including: retail, membership, fitness, the wellness center, pool, tennis and pickleball.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage front desk and front desk schedule, covering absences and vacations as needed.
- Manage pool staff, hiring and scheduling.
- Perform basic front desk duties, including guest reservations, assisting guests in the wellness facilities, performing regular walk throughs of all facilities, tennis reservations, cash and credit card sales, and all other front desk duties as needed.
- Schedule and facilitate quarterly front desk department meetings.
- Maintain complete knowledge of fitness club, golf, and Harvest operations, including events and specials.
- Oversee the daily operations of the fitness club, including inventory of retail and professional products, cleanliness of club, payroll through ADP, staff scheduling, organizing and maintaining the retail boutique
- Assist in hiring staff and with disciplinary actions which are within the Sonnenalp standards.
- Help in ordering, inventory, receiving, tagging and stocking of the retail boutique.
- Respond to guest positive/negative experiences.
- Inventory Control of all amenities, wellness center supplies, office supplies and work in unison with Fitness Manager to order needed fitness accessories for member usage in classes and gym floor.
- Supervise other staff, pool, wellness, trainers in Fitness Club managers absence.
- Assist Fitness Club Manager with various other projects and tasks as needed.
Education/Experience
- Adult and Child CPR/First Aid Certified preferred.
- Strong computer skills required with MS Office Software with basic website capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of Fitness Club Management Software preferred.
- Must be self-starter and demonstrate initiative when unsupervised.
- Strong Leadership skills.
