While reporting to the Director Industrial Supply Chain North America, the Materials Flow Manager is responsible for efficient receipt, shipment, and storage of raw materials and finished products to meet both internal and external customer service standards for our Hartsville SC, campus. Oversee and coordinate all warehouse planning and functions, including inventory management practices for three separate manufacturing plants located on the campus. This position is responsible for the efficient use of trailer assets as well as the effective operation of the yard management and trailer switching operation.

The annual base salary range for this role is from $116,925 to $140,310, plus annual target incentive of 12.5% of base salary.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and implement a material flow strategy from receipt of raw material to the delivery of finished goods which meets the needs of each operation at lowest cost.
- Liaison with our corporate Logistics team on dedicated and common carrier strategies, trailer policies, and dedicated services.
- With Logistics, establish KPI’s for Hartsville Material movements.
- With our dedicated provider and each plant, optimize the yard switching operations
- Lead and coordinate with all Hartsville operations on material movement processes and policies
- Manage off-site Hartsville warehouses, including space layout, usage, and material flow
- Manage trailer yard operations and trailer usage
- Develop, implement, and utilize operating reports and performance metrics for each function
- Integrate the requirements of manufacturing leadership, production team, order fulfillment & scheduling, and logistics
- Implement improvements to reduce switching costs
- Design, implement and improve processes to improve inbound and outbound material movement efficiency, and costs

- You have a 4 year technical degree 10 years Logistics experience
- You have Lean - Six Sigma training or similar process improvement disciplines.
- You have experience and enjoy leading cross functional teams through changes to achieve more effective and efficient performance levels
