Overview:
Soundcheck is a low voltage integration contractor that specializes in audio, video, home theater, lighting control, golf simulators, motorized window treatments, and smart home systems installed in luxury residential properties. SoundCheck was recently acquired by seasoned entrepreneurs that are looking to expand the executive team and position the company for significant growth. The ideal candidate for the Controller role will be a CPA who is familiar with QuickBooks Online and is excited about implementing processes and financial best practices that don’t currently exist.

Responsibilities:
· Close prior monthly periods no more than 10 days into the current month
· Reconcile bank and credit card accounts with QuickBooks
· Have full ownership of AP and AR
· Create journal entries in QuickBooks
· Report key financial metrics to the CEO and COO on a weekly basis
· Prepare reports and statements for the outside accounting firm that prepares corporate tax returns
· Handle insurance audit requests
· Process all payroll through Paychex
· Create annual budgets and forecasts with the executive leadership team
· Negotiate favorable payments terms with vendors
· Oversee CAPEX and OPEX to ensure expenses are in
· Manage direct reports on the finance and administration team
· Supervise and facilitate collection efforts
