Position: VP, Strategy & Business Growth
Reports To: CRO/President
Salary Range: $200k - $250k
SUMMARY
The VP, Strategy & Business Growth will be responsible for leading the sales organization and structure across multiple markets while expanding the company’s client base and identifying new business opportunities. This role will oversee the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies aimed at increasing market share and growing revenue. Additionally, the VP will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key clients and industry partners.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Corporate Business Development & Sales
- Provide oversight and coaching for company-wide Business Development and Market Sector employees.
- Collaborate with the business team to create sales and marketing strategies that increase market share and revenue.
- Generate new business opportunities through market research, analysis, and identifying emerging trends.
- Conduct bi-monthly calls with each Business Developer to address issues within each business unit.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, industry partners, and personal networks.
- Negotiate and close business deals.
- Monitor and manage the company-wide CRM database and workflow processes.
- Prepare and manage the annual corporate business development budget.
- Partner with external consultants to drive company initiatives and goals.
- Advise the CRO and President on market issues affecting the industry.
Corporate Marketing
- Provide senior executive leadership and oversight for the marketing team.
- Collaborate with the VP, Marketing to address ongoing staffing/personnel or departmental issues.
- Act as the Marketing department advocate across all departments for conflict or situational resolution.
- Attend weekly Marketing department calls/meetings.
- Provide executive-level coaching to the VP, Marketing and conduct annual reviews.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
- Travel as necessary.

EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, construction management, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
- Knowledge of the construction industry is preferred.
