SourcePro Search is currently seeking a Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of their production equipment. This role involves directing and coordinating activities related to production equipment maintenance and new installations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preventive maintenance systems, be well-versed in Lean initiatives such as Six Sigma, and possess knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). They will oversee the safe maintenance, repair or replacement, installation, and startup of production equipment and systems.
- Responsibilities include operating, inspecting, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining equipment according to technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and spare parts manuals.
- Perform major repair work, such as removal and replacement of components.
- Participate in objective setting, plan development, and performance review of production equipment and systems.
The successful candidate will also identify vendors and solicit quotes for equipment repair or fabrication services that cannot be done in-house. They will establish routine inspections of equipment, delegate and manage workflows and tasks, and initiate, implement, and manage the production equipment preventive maintenance program.
This role requires strong business acumen, clearly denoting expectations, and directions. The successful candidate will work with Maintenance, Engineering, Production, QA, and Sanitation personnel to develop SSOPs for new production equipment and older equipment without an SSOP.
