This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, Central Office, 2414 Bull Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
As the Administrative Coordinator, working under general supervision, responsible for agency confidential storage, access and security. Responsible for inventory management, storage and access and for state vehicle reservation and upkeep. Provides ancillary services logistical support.

Minimum And Additional Requirements
A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services or a bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.
Additional Comments
The selected candidate may be required to do day trips in agency provided vehicles, to provide trainings at offsite locations at one of our facilities. Must be able to lift at least ten (10) pounds.

As the Administrative Coordinator, working under general supervision, responsible for agency confidential storage, access and security. Responsible for inventory management, storage and access and for state vehicle reservation and upkeep. Provides ancillary services logistical support.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Responsible for confidential agency file storage, access control and delivery. Develops plan for confidential agency files affiliated with State Director, HR, Finance, Internal Audit, General Counsel, Medical Director, CMHS. Development to include labeling of files by "owner/type", creating of access rights list, method to validate personnel at time of access, sign out/in log, storage based on agency/state retention storage policies.
- Responsible for inventory management, storage and access control for agency supplies and equipment. Develops and maintains systems for DMH equpiment receipt, storage, dissemination, and tracking. Collaborates with DMH asset and inventory managers to perform.
- Responsible for agency state vehicles. Establishes and maintains reservation logs for state vehicles onsite. Collaborates with personnel and DMH vehicle management for service and reporting.
- Responsible for ancillary services support logistics. Includes but not limited to collaboration for special events and training, interagency deliveries, movement of materials and equipment to/from other DMH locations.
- Responsible for cubicle set-up for new users. Will act as the liaison between administrative staff and IT for cubicle needs for new hires.
- Liaison to Property Management vendor. Serve as initial point of contact for personnel needs related to facility maintenance. Coordinates with Property Management vendor for repair/maintenance needs.
- Responsible for supply and equipment pick up at other DMH locations.
