The Associate Director of the Center for Rural Health Improvement (CRHI) will be responsible for leading a team in the development and implementation of a comprehensive, applied, research portfolio for the Center for Rural Health Improvement (CRHI) which proliferates the SSOM scope of work in the Social Determinants of Health. The scope of work will include, but is not limited to writing and overseeing a team to execute proposals/manuscripts and other reports as directed by the portfolio of CRHI, working with internal and external stakeholders to support data, research, and project functions, lead grant writing and evaluation for the SD Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Program Office, assist in leading the expansion and maintenance of CRHI portfolio, lead the research related pieces of the CRHI portfolio, execute other related deliverables from contracts/grants as necessary, work with staff and students to further research experience, and assist the Director of CRHI as needed.
Qualifications: PhD with 3-5 years experience preferred. Master’s degree with 5-7 years experience will be considered.
