What you will do:
- develop and lead a team of motivated individuals to meet the goals of the Department;
- be an integral member of the Department’s tax administration team;
- assist with legislation, lobbying, and budget planning for the division;
- take a leadership role in technology projects and information requests;
- be a liaison for the Department with its constituents and partners;
- represent the Department in national tax and regulatory organizations.
What you need:
Our ideal candidate has:
- prior experience working in collaborative team environments and demonstrating effective time management and organizational skills;
- high attention to detail;
- effective verbal and written communication abilities including spelling, punctuation, and grammar;
- ability to interpret information, laws, and policies;
- project management skills;
- ability to effectively analyze and convey data and information, both within the Department of Revenue and to outside parties.
