Summary :
The CTE Science Summer Camp Pre-Planning Office Assistant will closely collaborate with the CTE Science Summer Camp Coordinator to provide support for the Summer Camp program. The candidate must possess strong attention to detail, be proactive, and have the ability to work independently. The Office Assistant's primary responsibility will be to support the administrative functions of the CTE Science Summer Camp. The Office Assistant will assist with branding, marketing, registration, communication, ordering materials, logistics, and data entry.
The selected candidate will work 56 hours to meet the needs of this program and will be compensated at their per diem rate. The Office Assistant will report their weekly hours to the CTE Science Summer Camp Coordinator to ensure they do not exceed a total of 40 hours per week, considering both their current position(s) and the summer camp office assistant role. The Pre-Planning Office Assistant will not be eligible for overtime. The tentative commitment hours is outlined as follows :
- February – March-2 hours of work per week x 5 weeks = 10 hours
- April- 4 hours of work per week x 5 weeks= 20 hours
- May-4 hours of work per week x 4 weeks = 16 hours
- June-5 hours of work per week x 2 weeks 1 day = 10 hours
