We are currently seeking a Payroll/Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This position processes biweekly payroll; processes payroll checks and direct deposit mailers, updates time and attendance system, provides training and assistance to new employees and supervisors, performs specific accounting department functions
Independence Physician Management (IPM), a subsidiary of UHS, was formed in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS. IPM develops and manages multi-specialty physician networks and urgent care clinics which align with UHS acute care facilities. Qualifications
Job requirements:
Two year college degree, preferably in accounting or equivalent experience commensurate with the job requirements.
Three or more years’ payroll/accounting experience.
Health care experience preferred.
Must possess knowledge of all aspects of payroll requirements; including working with multiple locations/legal entities
Strong knowledge of Fair Labor Standards Act
Knowledge of garnishments, child support and tax lien procedures.
Must possess good written and oral communication skills.
