Seeking a Program Director for an Internal Medicine Residency Program in South Texas! 72 Hospitalist Shifts Flexible Schedule !
The South Texas Health System GME Consortium has received its Initial Accreditation from ACGME and is announcing the launch of new residency programs to include Internal Medicine. We seek a committed Internal Medicine Program Director to lead the first expected residents in July 2024.

Opportunity Highlights:
Program Director for a new Internal Medicine Program with an opportunity to grow.
Initial immediate consulting agreement to lead the ACGME Internal Medicine application until the initial accreditation is granted, with an anticipated accreditation in early 2024.

Position Requirements:
- Current board certification by the ABIM or AOBIM.
- Texas Medical License or eligible by the time program is accredited.
- At least three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience.
- Recent history of scholarly activities/research.
- Recent PD or APD experience preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate interpersonal, organizational, educator, and leadership skills.
