IT and Video Support Manager:
As the IT and Video Support Manager with Southeast Banking Systems (SBS), you will be our lead technical resource for supporting all video surveillance products and technology that we provide to our bank, credit union, education, healthcare, and government customers. You will work with our sales team, service technicians, and installers to provide them with expert support and advice on selling, servicing, and installing video surveillance equipment such as DVRs and cameras. You will serve as the primary bridge between our video equipment vendors and SBS, and be responsible for providing training and product information to coworkers and customers. You will also be responsible for helping create proposals for sales of new equipment by creating product lists and installation labor estimates. This position will be based out of our main office in London, KY and will require travel to customer locations throughout Kentucky and the surrounding states. Overnight travel during the work week will be rare, but occasionally necessary for managing large projects. This is a full-time permanent position.
Primary duties include:
1. Technical Sales Support
a. Assists sales team with on-site surveys
b. Leads or assists on product demonstrations to potential customers
c. Specifying equipment lists for projects
d. Calculates labor hour estimates for projects
2. Connection to Vendors
a. Pursues project or volume based discounts from vendors in coordination with sales team
b. Gathering and sharing latest product knowledge and updates with sales, service, and install teams
3. Service Support
a. On-call support to all service technicians as they encounter complex issues with DVRs, cameras, and user interfaces
b. On-call support directly to key customers
4. Installation and Product Set-up Support
a. Lead or assist on major video installation projects
b. Work directly with end users to program and customize video equipment
5. Lead Training
a. On-site customer training
b. Coworker training
i. Training service technicians
ii. Training sales staff
iii. Training install crews
6. Advising Company Management
a. Advise Director of Sales on direction of video product market and potential new sales opportunities
b. Advise Service Manager about recurring service issues and training opportunities
c. Advise COO on need for installation equipment or procedures to improve installation quality and efficiency
Requirements:
1. Work Experience:
a. At least 3 years of installation, service, or management of video surveillance systems
b. At least 3 years of technical support on computer or network based systems
Job Type: Full-time
