What are the responsibilities and job description for the SE!KIDS Administrative Assistant Blankenbaker Campus position at Southeast Christian Church?
To be a valuable servant within the SE!KIDS Blankenbaker team by managing administrative needs. The goal is to enable the team to focus on each of their gifts as it contributes to helping our SE!KIDS Discover God, His Story, and our place in it, in alignment with the mission and vision of Southeast Christian Church. What You Will Be Doing:
- Manage office administrative needs such as checking the general SE!KIDS inbox, answering phone calls, scheduling meetings, and managing the team calendar in addition to Ministry Leader’s calendar.
- Submit requests for repairs, maintenance, printing, marketing etc.
- Assist in completing or distributing frequently requested forms such as school references, verification of volunteer hours for minor volunteers, expense reports, time off requests, etc.
- Implementation of communication strategies through signage, mailings, vendors, and organizational communication, including assisting with social media and ministry emails.
- Order supplies and resources for Children’s ministry, including obtaining quotes when necessary
- Take notes and organize information for the team in meetings, as well as preparing any needed copies or supplies.
- Assist Operations team with processing new volunteer applications as needed.
- Assist with details of events including booking rooms, catering, contractors, travel bookings, etc.
- Assist Operations team with budget documentation and management as well as invoice management for partners or vendors.
- Assist in managing benevolence and coordinating the team for pastoral care for families in the ministry
- Manage EMS (Event Management software) bookings for the ministry, and coordinate room needs for Trail Life and Bible Bowl partners.
- Be present for occasional evenings or weekends for special events
- Other ministry support duties as assigned

- Proficient in MS office and Excel, and able to learn SECC systems such as Rock and EMS
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and understand culture of SECC

- A heart for equipping, serving, and fulfilling the mission and vision of SECC and SE!KIDS

- Must have previous experience in administrative work.
