Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Manager to join our expanding corporate team at Southeast Industrial Equipment (SIE), one of the southeast’s largest material handling dealers. You will oversee and optimize the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Cash Application processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Your strategic insights will directly support senior management in financial decision-making and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Departmental Oversight & Operations
- Manage daily operations of the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Application teams.
- Ensure accurate and timely vendor payments and cash applications.
- Oversee and manage company-wide expense reimbursement software.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports to the Controller and CFO.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements to meet organizational goals.
Process Improvement & Technology Initiatives
- Lead cross-functional initiatives involving IT and other departments to implement systems that enhance process efficiency.
- Continuously assess current processes, recommend enhancements, and execute process-improvement projects.
Team Development & Support
- Provide mentorship, support, and backup to departmental supervisors and administrative staff.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (relevant experience may substitute educational requirements).
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software systems.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Experience managing or implementing accounting software.
- Familiarity with process automation tools and technology-driven accounting solutions.
- Prior experience in financial reporting to senior leadership.

Salary : $70,000 - $100,000
