As Southeast Orthopedic Specialists continues to grow, we are looking for a Director, Marketing & Business Development. Please see below for the functions and requirements needed to be considered for this position:
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
- Develop and conduct market opportunity analysis including environmental, competitor, customer, industry & dynamic and strategic change.
- Manage internal and external brand awareness, including print and online materials.
- Manage any external vendors who may assist in marketing efforts.
- Develop and execute innovative branding and marketing strategies to grow revenue and market share for the Company’s clinical operations and patient base, including driving growth of new patients, retention of existing patients, and growth in its ancillary service businesses.
- Develop and execute annual and multi-year marketing Develop annual marketing budgets, present them for executive team approval and be accountable for the execution of all plans within budget. Develop business case deliverables for executive-level presentations to achieve buy-in for strategic recommendations.
- Recognize trends specific to each territory (specialties, services, clinic locations, and providers), while providing knowledge of primary service areas, referring practices, physician affiliations, payer models, and other alignment models specific to each
- Develop a strong web presence and innovative online marketing strategies to increase Company revenue and market share.
- Develop the Company’s website and social media to maximize marketing and business development opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies within each territory in which the liaisons are responsible, and supply these individuals
with the proper tools, an open line of communication, and any resources deemed appropriate to achieve success while out in the field. - Develop, measure, and report on key success metrics for the marketing team and the Company.
- Ensure the organization’s mission statement, values, and patient promise are carried out. This includes educating others on things such as patient outcomes, physician accountability, and research efforts that set us apart from our competitors.
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership, management, and communication skills.
- Stay highly visible among physicians, leadership, and support staff focusing on effective listening and building loyalty throughout the organization.
EDUCATION
- Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business or marketing, Master’s Degree preferred. Or equivalent experience in a similar business position.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare communication and/or marketing with demonstrated success.
KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of the healthcare field and orthopedics.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance standards.
- Knowledge of dynamics and best practices for improving patient acquisition and improving referring provider satisfaction.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, and social media advertising platforms.
- Knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications, and public relations activities.
SKILLS
- Skill in exercising initiative, judgement, problem-solving, and decision-making daily.
- Skill in managing complex projects with multiple work streams and stakeholders.
- Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationships with staff, management, and the public.
- Skill in promoting the organization within the community.
