We are seeking a Second Shift Tube Mill Operator to join our team!
Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-2:30am
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring materials and measuring with a micrometer
- Inspecting materials for defects visually and by touch
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion
- Load and unload equipment and materials as needed
- Log and record readings for equipment and procedures
- Completing paperwork entirely with efficiency
Qualifications:
- Previous experience preferred
- Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to operate and maintain a tube mill for 8-12 hours a shift
- Math skill : add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, and decimal points
- Ability to read a tape measure
