Southeastern Honda is seeking an experienced, knowledgeable and customer-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services. Your expertise in auto service management and mechanical knowledge will be essential in providing accurate information and recommendations regarding vehicle maintenance and repairs. You will work closely with both customers and technicians to ensure a seamless service experience.
Duties
- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services, including oil changes, tire service, shocks and struts replacement, and other automotive repairs.
- Utilize your mechanical knowledge to recommend necessary repairs or maintenance based on customer concerns and vehicle diagnostics.
- Prepare accurate estimates for services required, ensuring transparency in pricing.
- Schedule appointments and manage the workflow within the service department to optimize efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with technicians to relay customer information and ensure timely completion of services.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns.
Experience
- Previous experience in an automotive service advisor role or similar position is preferred.
- Strong understanding of automotive repair processes, including auto estimating and dealership operations.
- Familiarity with various vehicle systems and components to provide informed recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A background in mechanics or auto service management is a plus, enhancing your ability to assist customers effectively.
