What are the responsibilities and job description for the Land Development Coordinator position at Southern Homes of Polk County?
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Distribute plans, permits, and other land development items to contractors, engineers, and government municipalities.
- Coordinate permitting of land development activities through government municipalities, environmental agencies, utility providers, etc
- Create and maintain working relationships within the industry and local municipalities
- Work with engineers and contractors to bid on new land development projects
- Maintain regular lot inventory and takedown reports
- Coordinate homeowner associations and manage the community management companies until turnover
- Facilitate turnover of development projects to the home building team
- Schedule walk-throughs, meetings, inspections, etc with engineers, contractors, and municipalities.
- Data compilation and maintenance of various reports, budgets, and processes
- Manage bonding process from initial request through the release
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in the land development and homebuilding industry is preferred but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively both in-person and through written communication
- Organized and self-driven
- Deadline oriented with great follow-up skill
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
