What are the responsibilities and job description for the Investor Relations Coordinator position at Southern Management Companies, LLC?
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR :
The role of the Investor Relations Coordinator will manage the day-to-day process of ongoing investor communication and information management by maintaining a robust and thorough channel of communication with all Southern Management's investors. This role will manage the process of organizing, distributing, and explaining this information. This role will work across functional areas within Southern Management including Accounting, Asset Management, Legal and Senior Leadership Team.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU :
- Prepare, coordinate, and communicate with investors regarding quarterly updates, investment status, transfer status, procedures, annual tax projections.
- Respond to investor requests and inquiries (involves extensive coordination with internal teams)
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all investor correspondence / communication, transfers of interest, changes of information, and distributions.
- Oversee management of Yardi investor data
- Manage and maintain investor database listings, ensuring records are up-to-date and easily accessible
- Contribute to team / company engagement efforts
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager and / or Supervisor
JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS :
3-5 years of relevant financial services marketing / communications experience, with preference for experience being in real estate
