Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Piping Estimator at Southern MEP Inc. The Piping Estimator will be responsible for estimating and analyzing costs for piping projects, collaborating with project managers, suppliers, and contractors, conducting site visits, and ensuring accurate project estimations. Additionally, the Piping Estimator will assist in bid preparation and submission processes.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Provide competitive job estimates for Project Managers.
- Price all revisions and changes.
- Notify Project Managers of revisions and changes provided.
- Work with the Project Manager and Assistant Project Managers on project proposals.
- Required Skills / Abilities :
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong teamwork skills
- 10 Years of experience in Mechanical Piping
- 10 years of experience in Estimating
- 10 years of experience in industrial / construction
