Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will support various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development. This position plays a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring that our HR practices align with our mission and vision.
Key Responsibilities:
The HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in supporting day-to-day human resources operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture:
- This role requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and interpersonal skills
- Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and facilitating candidate interviews
- Coordinate onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new employees
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and conflict resolution
- Promote a positive work environment by addressing employee issues in a timely and effective manner
- Foster an inclusive and collaborative work environment that values diverse perspectives, encourages equitable opportunities, and supports individuals to contribute and thrive
- Administer employee engagement surveys, analyze results, and develop action plans to enhance employee satisfaction and retention
- Assist with special projects and events, such as employee recognition programs
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Support Leave Administration, Benefits, Compensation and processing personnel actions in our system.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, including the employee handbook and Code of Conduct
- Support employee training initiatives and professional development opportunities
- Support the implementation and completion of performance management processes, ensuring timely evaluations, feedback, and development plans are effectively executed to support employee growth and organizational goals.
- Monitor the termination process for both voluntary and involuntary separations, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
- Develop and generate HR reports and analytics as needed
- Other Duties as Assigned
Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Required: Minimum three (3) years human resources experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Required: Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Preferred: SHRM-CP or PHR
- Preferred: Strong background in employment and employee relations
- Preferred: Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills with employees and all levels of management; able to create a working environment of open communication and trust; Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities, Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Work Environment:
- Role 100% onsite in the clinic environment
- This is a full-time position with the option to work a four-day, 10-hour schedule for a better work-life balance
- This position reports to the CEO
Compensation & Benefits:
- This position earns a competitive annual salary of $56,000 - $67,000, depending on experience
