About the Role
The Head Men's and Women's Track/Field Coach is responsible for overseeing all aspects of coaching, recruiting, and administering the men's and women's track/field programs at our institution. This includes developing and implementing strategies to enhance team performance, managing program logistics, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement coaching plans to achieve program goals
- Recruit and manage a team of part-time assistant coaches
- Monitor academic progress of student-athletes and ensure their eligibility to compete
- Manage program budgets and resources effectively
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of coaching experience at the collegiate level
- Knowledge of NJCAA rules and regulations
- Valid driver's license
Work Environment
This position requires regular attendance at games and events, as well as travel with the team as needed. Overnight stays may be required on occasion.
