SouthStar Capital is growing and hiring and immediately needs inside sales team members. The ideal candidate is looking for 20-30 hours per week, up to full-time but not less than 10.
What you’ll be doing
Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) are responsible for generating leads through calling on prospect accounts and qualifying sales opportunities.
SouthStar wants you on the team if you:
- Enjoy being on the phone and scheduling meetings with prospective clients
- Can be a team player in a high-energy sales team environment
- Demonstrate a high degree of motivation, professionalism, and competence to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Are proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (voicemail, email, MS Office)
What we’re looking for:
- You have one to two years of experience in Lead Generation, Business Development, or Direct Sales
- You’re resourceful and creative, with a keen capacity to identify new ways of reaching prospects
- You love cold calling (seriously) and scheduling meetings with prospective clients
- You have polished and professional written and oral communication skills
- You can work in a high-energy sales team environment; you are a team player
- You have a college-level education
