Summary
This role leads and optimizes our inside sales team. Focusing on setting measurable performance metrics, overseeing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, and supporting our outside sales teams; driving business growth.
Your Core Responsibilities Include:
Team Leadership and Sales Strategy
- Manage, mentor, and develop the inside sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
- Set clear, measurable targets (KPIs) for sales performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to improve team efficiency.
- Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the manufacturing industry.
CRM System Oversight
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the CRM system to streamline processes.
- Ensure accurate data entry and reporting in the CRM to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Train team members on CRM usage and leverage data for forecasting and pipeline management.
Collaboration with Outside Sales
- Work closely with outside sales teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Provide support by generating leads, tracking customer interactions, and preparing reports to assist field representatives.
- Act as a liaison between inside and outside sales teams to enhance customer satisfaction.
Business Growth Initiatives
- Identify new market opportunities through data analysis and market research.
- Develop strategies to shorten sales cycles and improve conversion rates in a manufacturing context.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, production) to align sales efforts with broader company goals.
Reporting and Analysis
- Monitor key sales metrics such as revenue growth, lead conversion rates, and customer retention.
- Prepare detailed reports on team performance, CRM analytics, and market trends for senior management.
