The Senior People Strategy & Planning Consultant supports our Purpose by unifying the functions of the People Department through strategic planning, integrated delivery, and enterprise alignment. In addition to building and maintaining the People Department Strategic Roadmap, this role will also manage agendas, communications, and governance. The Senior People Strategy & Planning Consultant is organized and a skilled communicator who looks forward to partnering with various internal Customers to drive key initiatives for the People Department.

Job Summary
Leads the development of a portfolio of programs that support the department's strategic objectives. Responsible for building business cases and shepherding them from ideation to implementation. Drives visibility, understanding, and alignment with external partners
Responsibilities
Partner with Leaders to develop a deep understanding of the department's strategic objectives and value drivers, translating them into portfolio-specific goals and objectives, along with a prioritized multi-year roadmap
Work with various stakeholders to build business cases by identifying requirements (impacts, costs, resourcing needs) and objectives, garnering leadership alignment, and providing delivery oversight
Provide roadmaps & status updates for department efforts within the portfolio while bringing visibility to issues, risks, dependencies, and critical decisions to internal and external partners
Partner with communications liaison to develop a communications strategy for different programs based on audience and communications channel
Recognize inefficiencies with processes/procedures/organizational structure and proactively offer suggestions for improvements
Be well-versed in the portfolio's budget and be able to make trade-off recommendations as new efforts become known
Create an overall portfolio metrics/reporting strategy aligned to the department metrics reporting strategy
Manage stakeholder expectations effectively and drive teams and customers toward decisions
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems
Skilled in identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
Skilled in bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences
Skilled in understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
Ability to drive solutions within a team/group without being a subject matter expert
Ability to identify and mitigate risks and recognize when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong
Ability to synthesize information and ideas across organizational levels including Executive leadership
Ability to apply critical thinking analysis to solve complex problems related to strategy development or project delivery.
Education
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
Advanced-level experience, expansive and far-reaching knowledge in:
Contributing to cross-departmental, high visibility Projects and Programs
Building trust and relationships with all levels of Employees & Leadership
Consulting and management
Partnering with internal and external teams
Communicating through storytelling
Workflow/project management tools (JIRA, ASANA, etc.)
Preferred: experience as a change management practitioner facilitating strategic planning discussions
Preferred: experience operating in or across HR functions

Physical Abilities
Ability to perform work duties from limited space workstation/desk/office area for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job

Must be at least 18 years of age

Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $130,750 to $145,300 pending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the
discretion of the company.
