Facility Manager

Management Position

Experienced Property Manager (Self Storage) – Indio Area

• Full Time Position (40 hours/week)
• Working hours 8 am – 5 pm Tuesday-Saturday

Position : We have an immediate need for an experienced full-time self-storage manager. As a property manager you will work independently at the property, working both indoors and outside managing the daily office tasks, retail sales, and maintaining the facility. You Manage the Property! We are seeking an energetic, detail oriented, strong, and hard-working individual who treats the business as their own. This is an opportunity to manage a high-quality asset as part of a larger portfolio of storage properties.

Office Responsibilities:

• Manage day to day operations of facility.
• Responsible for the sales, occupancy, and delinquency management of the facility.
• Manage office staff and maintenance in an operating self-storage business.
• Provide outstanding customer service including assessing and resolving customer issues, and inquiries.
• Responsible for showing and leasing storage units, selling merchandise, completing compliant lease paperwork, collecting rent, and collection calls,
• General management inclusive of opening and closing the store on time each day, balancing cash drawer & petty cash, and making daily bank deposits.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly management reports.
• Conduct periodic audits of files, vacant unit walk-thru and facility inspections
• Assist in preparing units for auction as prescribed by law, and approved by management
• Effectively communicate with management and fellow associates.
• Manage day to day operations of facility.

Maintenance Responsibilities

• Keep office and property generally clean
• Sweep vacant units and prepare for rental if needed
• Occasional moving heavy objects/lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications :

• Prior self-storage or management experience preferred
• General office and written / oral communication skills required
• Ability to pay close attention to detail
• Computer competency required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
