PRIMARY PURPOSE
To administer, monitor, and maintain a secure testing environment for the CASAS online E-tests for Oregon Title II programs; may include evening hours.Testing and Proctoring (90% of Time)
  1. Prepare and organize test administration, according to CASAS, college, and state guidelines.
  2. Prepare and organize accommodation testing, in accordance with college guidelines.
  3. Maintain necessary materials and supplies, using mandated security procedures and guidelines.
  4. Comply with certification requirements for CASAS E-test proctors. Keep all testing candidate and exam information confidential.
  5. Work evenings as requested.
  6. Follow safety procedures and maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
 
General Testing Center Coordination (10% of Time)
  1. Create a comfortable, pleasant environment for the testing candidates.
  2. Perform light clerical duties that could include copying, filing, stapling, assisting students with registration, answering the phone and taking messages.
  3. Attend meetings and training sessions as directed. 
Performs Other Duties and Special Projects as Required/Assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required.
 
Minimum of two years of experience operating computers, including using software such as testing software, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

  • Ability to perform, data entry in the college-wide Student Information System, word processing and spreadsheet applications. Exhibit a high level of computer literacy, sufficient to use software such as word processing, spreadsheets and databases to produce correspondence, documents and reports. Sufficient manual dexterity to be able to operate office computer, typewriter and calculator.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of department records and/or information as requested.
  • Astute attention to detail to determine and maintain the integrity of testing unit.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to access college and community resources.
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate Degree
  • Three (3) months experience in training administration
  • Specific training in testing protocols and procedures.
