Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Post job openings and manage the recruitment process
- Actively source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks to build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates
- Manage the relationship between Sovereign and any chosen recruitment agencies
- Schedule interviews and facilitate communication between hiring manager and candidates
- Oversee the pre-employment and onboarding process for new employees, including disseminating information to appropriate parties and systems, conducting orientation, collecting and processing required documentation, running consumer reports, and coordinating training
- Generate monthly, yearly, and ad hoc reporting for leadership team
- Assist the leadership team with day-to-day employee relations tasks, including scheduling employee reviews, tracking and approving paid time off, tracking employee tenure and milestones, and assisting with special projects
- Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and company policies
- In-house HRIS systems specialist, ensuring accuracy of information, attending product information sessions, setting up customer accounts, and acting as first-line support for employee inquiries
- Manage the offboarding process, including disseminating information to appropriate parties and systems, ensuring a smooth transition for departing employees.
- Generate monthly, yearly, and ad hoc reporting for leadership team
- Bachelor's Degree or industry-related experience
- Three (3) or more years of human resources generalist & talent acquisition experience
- Exceptional organizational and customer service skills
- Excellent written, interpersonal, analytical, and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to multi-task, delegate, and handle responsibilities with minimal supervision
- PC proficiency required. MS Office (Word and Excel) preferred
- Familiarity with JazzHR and BambooHR systems is a plus
- Salary: $60,000-$75000 per year
