SPACE CHURCH INC. is a Y7K Pro-God Futuristic Church that focuses on earthly and intergalactic dominance by humanity through God-driven space science and technology. We are NEITHER of the following: “Pentecostal,” neo-Pentecostal,” “Evangelical,” “Charismatic,” “neo-Charismatic,” "Reform," “Orthodox,” nor “Traditional.” We a non-denominational, independent, Christian church.

We are a NEW THING in God’s toolbox.

So, those seeking continuity of what they know and practice in their prior churches, should not apply to our positions because it will not be beneficial to their spiritual quest given the lack of spiritual chemistry.

Here are some of our UNIQUENESS:

1. A “New Song” Worship Style such as: “Space Songs,” Space Psalms, Christian hard rock, heavy metal rock, Christian EDM, Christian spontaneous, Christian trance, Christadelic rock, Christian Pop Rock, Christian alternative rock, Christian garage rock, Christian contemporary pop, Rap, Ragga, & Christian underground club culture music. (Psalm 96:1-5). We are not into traditional church music stuff.

2. Unique Ministry Focus: Unlike other churches, we are a SOLUTIONS-ORIENTED, problem-solving church. When we gather, we identify individual and societal problems and challenges such as the California Wildfires or perennial hurricanes or poverty. Then we prayerfully brainstorm together seeking biblical, scientific, technological, and measurable practical solutions – guided by Christian experts in the relevant fields. We create solutions!

3. Unlike other churches, we are a pro-active STANDING CHURCH that emphasizes sportsmanlike godliness through bodily exercises, physical movements, and healthy low impact fitness such as: walking, stretching, stair climbing, arm circles, leg swings, bodyweight squats, planks, wall sits, seated hip rotations, and simple yoga poses like child's pose or cat-cow pose. In the view of SPACE CHURCH INC., Church pews, chairs, benches, etc. make lazy and lousy Christianity, SO THESE HAVE NO PLACE with us. If you prefer sitting on pews, chairs, and benches, SPACE CHURCH INC. is not a good fit for you.

4. Our Four Pillars: (a) Jesus is The Word (The Bible); (b). Jesus is God’s Wisdom (Theology & Philosophy); (c ) Jesus is the Law Giver (U.S. Constitution); (d) Jesus is the King of the intergalactic systems (Policy).

5. Our Audience: SPACE CHURCH INC. is a Y7K church primarily designed for Generations X, Y, Z, Alpha & beyond: Space science & tech addicts, Christian gamers, simulated Virtual Reality enthusiasts, fashion ravers, techies, creators, piercings / tattoo lovers, progressive minds, extreme science enthusiasts, divorced Christians castaway from churches, the unchurched, true seekers, change makers, non-traditional persons. All who think outside the box and crave a non-judgmental godly community. Best if you are in the Lynchburg VA area.

6. Second Amendment Rights: We carry guns for God, family, and country defenses. (Nehemiah 4:7-9).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage volunteer activities, ensuring effective recruitment and training of new members.
• Lead and motivate volunteers through public speaking engagements and team meetings.
• Utilize social media to promote events and engage with the community.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop programs that enhance volunteer participation and satisfaction.
• Monitor and evaluate volunteer performance, providing guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and volunteer management skills
• Experience in supervising and training volunteers
• Proficient in public speaking and engaging diverse audiences
• Ability to recruit and retain volunteers effectively
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other nonprofit managment software
• Background in social work or community service initiatives
• Competence in social media management to promote church activities
