We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them in selecting the right cannabis products for their medical needs. Your expertise and passion for the cannabis industry will help create a welcoming environment that encourages customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide them with personalized service to enhance their shopping experience.
• Educate customers on various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories.
• Assist customers in making informed decisions by understanding their preferences and needs.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring that products are displayed attractively.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and compliance regulations related to cannabis sales.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally over the phone and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math skills is essential.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.
• Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Experience operating cash registers and POS systems is highly desirable.
• A passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• Must be of legal age to work in compliance with local regulations regarding cannabis sales.
• Valid Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA) Employee Credential preferred.
