Job Summary/Company:
Sparks Group has partnered with a health organization and is searching for a proactive Bilingual Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Specialist. The Specialist will be responsible for daily cash application of customer accounts and invoicing functions. They will process refunds and other adjustments and collections timely and accurately. Responsibilities:
- Manage a high-end portfolio with critical accounts and distribution accounts
- Track and submit daily cash applications of customer accounts
- Review/audit reports for error conditions and exceptions
- Generate reports using tools and distribute reports to customers and vendors
- Update, develop, and improve the monthly reporting requirements
- Identify issues or trends and demonstrate successful outcomes
- Stay updated on internal customers
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years of accounting experience, specifically, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Invoicing
- Bilingual Spanish
- Ability to work onsite in DC at minimum 2 days a week
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well with internal customers
- Ability to work in a growing and fast-paced environment while multi-tasking
- Solid strategic, detail oriented and customer service skills
