Job Summary
As a member of the Sparrow behavior consultative team, you will provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) services to adults and adolescents under the care of the Division of Services for People with Disabilities (DSPD).
We are looking to drastically change the way behavior consultative services have typically been provided to the adult population in the state of Utah by implementing a wide variety of behavior analytic services, including traditional and "third wave" ABA (i.e., Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, the Constructional Approach, etc.). If you want to expand your skill set and be a part of a movement to change service delivery in the state of Utah, then this job is for you!
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA)
- Develop and implement behavior support plans (BSP)
- Develop and implement data collection systems to monitor the effectiveness of BSPs
- Train treatment teams on BSPs and associated data collection systems
- Provide BSP modifications based on collected data and reports from treatment teams
- Provide ongoing training and consultation to treatment teams
- Create and maintain your own schedule
- FYI - This is a trainer/consultant position so you rarely come in contact with aggressive clients if that is a worry!
Education/Experience
- Enrolled in or completed a master’s program approved by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB).
- BCBAs-in-training will quickly get through their supervised fieldwork hours with full-time unrestricted hours!
- No problem if you have only worked with kids. This is a great opportunity to expand your skill set with as much supervision as you need!

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
