We’re supporting a values-driven, community-oriented organization in their search for an Accounting Manager who’s ready to take the reins on internal financial operations and lead a high-impact accounting function.
This is not just a number-crunching role — it’s a chance to shape financial workflows, mentor a small team, and collaborate directly with executive leadership to ensure financial accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
What You’ll Own:
- Leading and mentoring a small accounting team responsible for day-to-day financial operations
- Ensuring accurate financial reporting, including reconciliations, closing procedures, and internal documentation
- Monitoring accounts payable and receivable activity with a focus on timeliness and vendor relations
- Enhancing accounting systems and driving improvements across financial processes
- Supporting budgeting efforts, analysis of financial data, and reporting for leadership and the board
- Acting as the main point of contact for audits and regulatory reviews
You’ll Thrive Here If You:
- Bring at least 3 years of accounting experience (ideally in a regulated or service-based environment)
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Love managing details but also thinking big-picture
- Have some leadership or supervisory experience — or are ready to step into that lane
- Are passionate about doing meaningful work for a stable and community-rooted organization
Why This Company:
This team offers a professional yet mission-minded culture where employees are valued and work/life balance is prioritized. You’ll enjoy competitive compensation, generous paid time off, and benefits designed to support your long-term growth — including tuition reimbursement and internal career development opportunities.
If you're ready to lead with purpose and bring structure and clarity to an already solid accounting foundation, we’d love to speak with you.
