Spartan Capital Group is excited to support our rapidly growing manufacturing client near Conyers, GA, in their search for a skilled Cost Accountant.
Position: Cost Accountant
Location: Conyers, GA
Schedule: In-office M-F, some travel, occasional remote
Salary: Up to $90,000
About the Role:
Join a dynamic team within a growing manufacturing company (500 employees, $250M revenue). As a Cost Accountant with this client, you will play a key role in inventory analysis and financial reporting. You must be an independent thinker with strong problem-solving skills, intermediate Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, pivot tables), and the ability to work without an ERP system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inventory analysis
- Utilize Microsoft GP and Excel to understand data flow into the GL
- Build and present reports understandable to non-accountants
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of cost accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Self-sufficient with excellent logical problem-solving skills
Interview Process:
1. Phone interview with the Controller
2. Berke Assessment
3. Onsite, in-person interview
4. Final decision by HR, CFO, and the Controller
