Accounting Specialist
This position is based at our Administration Office in Dothan, Alabama.
Monday -Thursday 7:30am - 5:00pm; Friday 7:30am - 11:30am

Responsibilities:
- Prepares and reviews accounting and financial reports and helps to ensure accurate accounting systems and record keeping.
- Responsible for maintaining computerized fixed asset accounting system and files.
- Prepares daily bank deposit.
- Performs other accounting duties as required or as requested by CFO or Controller.
- Regular attendance with timely arrival and departure according to scheduled hours. All absences must be reported to teh Controller, his/her designee or Chief Human Resources Officer.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
- At least one year bookkeeping experience required.
- Experience using accounting software such as Quicken or Quick Books as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) years accounting experience.
- Some governmental accounting experience preferred.
