Industrial Designer

Overview
Design and develop innovative products from concept to production, collaborating with engineers, marketers, and other stakeholders to meet functional and aesthetic requirements. Your expertise in design thinking and problem-solving will be key across a range of projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from ideation to production-ready designs.
• Work closely with engineering, marketing, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and meet market needs.
• Create detailed sketches, CAD models, and prototypes.
• Research consumer needs, market trends, and materials.
• Present and communicate design concepts to internal teams and clients.
• Ensure designs meet aesthetic, functional, safety, and sustainability standards.
• Participate in product testing and iteration.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and design technologies.

Skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Product Design or related field.
• Proven industrial design experience with a portfolio showcasing your process and products.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360, etc.).
• Experience with prototyping, rendering, and model-making.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and ergonomics.
• Passion for design with an eye for detail and user-centered solutions.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in consumer products, automotive, or electronics design is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Industrial Design or related field.
• Familiarity with UX/UI principles.
• Experience with sustainability-focused design.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
